We are the product and editorial team behind In The Mood, a private iOS app designed to help couples communicate current interest in intimacy or affection with less guesswork and pressure.
What experience we bring
Our direct experience is in designing, building, testing, and supporting the In The Mood product. That gives us practical knowledge of privacy, mood signaling, partner pairing, consent-aware product language, and the communication problems users bring to couples apps. We do not present ourselves as clinicians.
How we work
Guides begin with a defined reader question and a review of original research, public-health guidance, and relationship-safety resources. We separate evidence from editorial interpretation, avoid diagnosing readers, and state important limitations. Product comparisons are checked against current public listings and dated.
